Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich Hosts 12th Annual Golf Fund-Raiser

Greenwich, CT, resident Henry (Hank) R. Minchin Jr. has served as managing director at Credit Suisse in New York City for more than 15 years. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Hank Minchin supports a number of Greenwich, CT, organizations, such as the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich (BGCG).

BGCG recently announced that it raised $35,000 to support member programs and services through its 12th annual golf tournament. After being rescheduled because of inclement weather, the golf tournament took place on a sunny day that saw 100 golf enthusiasts, volunteers, event sponsors, and club alumni gather for the event. BGCG explained that the funds from the tournament will be used maintain the club’s wide range of programs for children, including tutoring, computer training, athletics, art classes, swim lessons, and digital art classes.

During the event, participants also enjoyed a drawing for more than 50 door prizes and a silent auction. BGCG’s CEO noted that there was a strong turnout for the fundraiser, as well as a shared sense of positivity and support among participants.
